What year is this Litespeed Obed?

What year is this Litespeed Obed? It still has the rear canti cable stop.
The serial number is 13718 RZ. Where is it fit in the product line-up of that year?

It also has a signature "W. David Lynskey" on the non-drive chainstay.
I know that Litespeed was once owned by the Lynskey's but what part did W. David play?

That is probably a 95-96. I have a 97 which is I believe, when they did away with the brake cable stop in the rear. Mine had the same signature on the chainstay till I sent it in to have the disc mount installed in 2001. Litespeed sent it back with pisgah stickers then. Looks like it is in pretty good shape!-Jared

Here is my '96 Obed for you to compare. It had the rear cable thingy and the same signature on the chain stay. Litespeed sent me Pisgah stickers when the old ones wore off. They were yellow originally.

I love this freaking bike, it climbs like a goat, and loves tight, twisty singletrack.

Correction: signature is on the seat stay, not chain stay.

    David W. designed the Obed.
His signature is also on my 1998 Obed, non-driveside seatstay.
    Titanium or Bust !
