I can't figure this out. I have a used Unicoi from about 98. It has the old spring/elastomer rear cartridge, which was loaded with dirt and grit. It was creaking alot when I test rode it, so I took everything out, greased it and replaced. It still creaks like mad. Sometimes, on not-so-big hits I hear a clunk. The folks at ABC say there is not possibiity of metal-to-metal contact, but it sounds and feels like it is bottoming out. Any ideas about what I need to do?
