I just got an older Litespeed frame that was listed as a '97 Ocoee. From what little I know about LS, it does look to be an Ocoee with the larger diameter top tube. My issue is trying to match the size to the specs listed on LS catalog. I was hoping that someone might be familiar with how they measure (maybe I'm doing it wrong) or with their ser # sequence.
ser # 27264 with YA stamped perpendicular
ST 17 c-c, and 17.5 c-t
TT 21.25 (maybe 21.50)
HT 4.1 "
On the catalog, 4.1" HT frames are only on smaller ST sized frames. I do have an email into LS but no reply.
I have 94 ocoee that is a 17". I just went out and measured it and looks like they measured center to top. Top tube is 21.5 c-c on the tube itself. Could that be an obed instead of an ocoee? Mine has a "boomed"/tapered top and seat tube, meaning it changes diameter. The top tube is larger at the front and the seat tube is larger at the bottom. Of course they may have changed it by 97? I can take pics of it if that helps somehow.
