    Here is mine!

It is actually a 97 Obed. When I sent it to Litespeed to have the disc mount put on, it came back with Pisgah stickers on it.-JRAD

Thanks for the love. Last time i got it weighed it was around 20lbs(that was 2 years ago though)........this was my first real race bike..i went all out..........besides what ya see, ti skewers, ti chainring bolts and der. bolts from srp, i had some lighter wheels, rolf propels for it but i moved them to my new race bike(but the propels will be back on her soon since i just sold the cane creeks that are pictured)...the only other thing that could be lighter would be some king bottle cages instead of these heavy ass elite cages, i eventually had to scrap some of the ti bolts.....im a ham fist and those ti bolts and small pieces get ate up by tools if you arent careful....but i still cant seem to sell this litespeed since its the fastest climbing thing i have ever pedaled.....

That's beautiful! What size is it? Mine is a '96 Obed, it has Pisgah stickers now too.

I've never been able to get it under 21 pounds. Now it has a slightly heavier SID Team on it, and a disc brake on the front only, and weighs in just under 22. How much did Litespeed charge you for the disc mount?

    2002 Pisgah

A couple of months ago I picked up a barely used Pisgah. It is an 02, but has about 200 miles on it, judging from the wear on the drivetrain. In any case, I sold everything that originally came with it, save for the crankset, BB and headset. Freshly rebuilt and race ready. Don't mind the pedals, these are there so I can ride it around town and on trails without having to swap. For races I use Candy SLs.

    nice clean lines..

I recently put some Crossmax Sl's on my 1998 17.5" Obed and it now weighs just a tad under 22 pounds (10.0kg)

    My Unicoi

Set her up to be nice and light, but not so light as to be in the weight-weenie category. This set up has been running strong for three years now with no problems.

The voices in my head may not be real, but they have some good ideas.

Nice rear suspension bit, looks like a Moots YBB . I didn't know Litespeed ever made those. Nowadays Unicoi's have an air spring.
What year is yours, 2001 or 2002? Can you post a close up of the rear suspension?

Attached a pic of my Moots' rear suspension..so you can see what I mean.

    93 Obed

here is a shot (I hope) of a 93 OBED, the first year the model came out. Box stock full XTR for under 2 grand. The mag 21 is long gone, and everything has been replaced with a XT build kit. The Manitou fork is crap, I have a Fox F100RLT on order. I hope the longer fork won't affect the handling too much. What do you guys/girls think? I saw one up above with a longer fork?

I would go for a 80 Fox. I had a Marzo on my Obed, fork which built in about 3/4 inch higher than my current SID, and I felt the handling became more sluggish.
The 93 frame was not made for 100mm forks.
Recently I ordered a reba wc 85mm which will make for a better/stiffer fork without affecting the geometry .

    Pisgah

I rode a Sid SL for a few years on my 2002 Pisgah. I bought a Duke U-turn (63 to 108mm) early last year. I found that when set over 90mm of travel, handling feeels sluggish over technical flats and climbs... but downhill is downright fun. If you're not a weight-weenie and want the option of more travel, consider one of the adjustable-travel forks. I have a Reba (though not the U-turn model) on my other bike and love it. I don't recommend the Duke.

Here was my rig when it was new. New wheelset and fork since this photo, but otherwise still going strong:
