    Yinding clone

Hi all, recently received what i believe is a yinding clone , creex2 xml2 from lightmalls , reasonably pleased and an improvement over my trustfire tr d002.

    xm-l2-2500-lumen-with-2-group-modes-led-bicycle-light-lamp-lamp-cap-only.

    It is the programmable model.

Running my own pannasonic cgr18650 cells

Considering buying a 2nd one , but is there any advantage with the original yinding over the other clones ?

And any worth while mods to my clone model, more for longevity than more power.
Have shortend the lead down, and will apply some thermal paste when i get some , and may be a aluminium finned mount.

Is thermal paste suitable for filling the gap from the back of the led board to case ?
    Thanks in advance.

The yinding is a far better light imho. I messed with a couple of those clones and their crap, bit their programmable driver fit in my yinding so all was good at that point.

The KD isn't particularly waterproof, and it doesn't have a good thermal path from the emitters to the case.

The Yinding also has higher output and can change the optics to suit your desired beam pattern.
