    Testing of Various Diffusion Techniques

I have posted my testing of various diffusion techniques over at Budget Light Forum for those interested. Feel free to discuss here or over there.

It was a lot to post (plus there are mousover comparisons which I don't think can be done over here) which is why I am simply linking to the BLF thread. I do plan to update the post with more tests (hopefully in the near future).

NOTE: I'm approaching the free bandwidth limit on PhotoBucket, so if the images do not appear they will be back up on the 24th of the month. In the meantime there is a link in the O.P. to the photo gallery.

Garry, big time thumbs up with the diffusion comparison. I know that a lot of time and effort went into that. Very good photos too, nice and clear.

I think one of things that comes out in the comparison is that when you only have so much light there is only so much that you can do with it. Diffusion techniques will likely work better with lamps using multiple emitters.

I agree completely. It's tough to get exactly what you want from a single emitter light.

Thanks! I'm going to try one or two more "patterns" of DC Fix placement as well. I also have the Glad "Press-n-seal" to try out. I should have ordered more lenses!
