    Strykr SL or Gemini ?

Baja Design has the Strykr SL back in stock and was planning on getting one back in November before they went on back order . While i was waiting, I researched alternatives. Is there any reason why i should get the Gemini Duo instead?

    More lumen? Design?

I own two Duo's and they are killer lights. If you consider Gemini why not look at gloworm?

There are so many options, you have to limit yourself somehow.
So i ruled out Gloworm because it's not USA based. But it is a good light.

    Strykr SL = 950 Lumens $200
    Gemini Duo = 1500 Lumens $210
    Gemini Xera = 950 Lumens $180

Unless you're going to use your light as a dive light, other than a slight increase in price I see no advantage in going with the strykr. The Gemini Duo will give you brighter and wider beam pattern, a much lighter system, a much more programmable system that will run just a long @ higher powered max setting with the optional 4 cell battery(well worth the extra $33 IMO). I own several Gemini lights (Titan, Xera, Duo, Olympia) and they're all excellent. I also agree with Gharddog03 that you should look at the Gloworms. I got an X2V3.1 (Gloworms dual emitter light (similar to the Duo) and I definitely like it better than my Duo. It does all the things the Due does plus it has much nicer bar and helmet mounts and considerably more power (Its not brighter but it has a lot more throw - check out Actions beam pattern graphs for both lights to see how much further ahead you can see, it's a big difference). It also runs abit cooler which is important to me since I live in the desert. Unfortunately it's another $36 more than the Duo ($70 moer than the strykr). I'm not sure if you have to pay shipping on the Strykr but both the Gemini & Gloworm are free shipping from Action. They're all good lights, you have to figure out what's the best deal for you. Hope this helps.
