Riding with Gen3 Night Vision?
Are there many folks here that ride using Gen3 image intensification technology?

Only ones I can think of are the secretive mtbr team 6.
Rule #9 // If you are out riding in bad weather, it means you are a badass. Period.

Not tried it yet. I have a helmet mount for mine. Just have to imagine it would bound around too much (PVS-14).

I've been riding my quad at night for years using a PVS-14. Stability isn't an issue with a properly fitting quality helmet and a solid mount. OpsCore had been the most popular bump helmet until recently now that Team Wendy has come out with a slightly more refined offering. ALWAYS use a dummy cord!
The biggest issue is the field of view only being 40 degrees, which is why I prefer a monocular over binocular so as to maintain better peripheral vision with the non-NV aided eye.
I recently bought a new mountain bike to try and get some much needed PT (there will never be any hardcore riding), and figure that come summer I will be riding mostly at night when it is not unbearably hot out, and having the option to go without white light seems beneficial by being lower profile.
