Just read an article that says that isn't true. Given the density of water, a slight increase in speed can result in significantly more drag.
on this forum i am under constant attack by geniuses from all sides ...

everybody is trying to teach me physics ...

just makes me want to delete my account already and get it over with ...

WHAT ISN'T TRUE ? the article doesn't contradict anything i said.

it seems half the people on this forum lack the most rudimentary logic and reading comprehension skills.

    UGH ...

At this stage, I can only salute you and say "bon voyage, androgen, on your odyssey!"

Hey CHnuschti, I got a 1Up on you, buddy. He gave me a negative on my comment telling me to "grow a brain moron".

Granted, although these short race formats are usually in a club setting.

there are still some people on here, like Cat-Man-Do who are not 100% hopeless, so i will first go the route of putting most of the rest of you on ignore list and see how that works.

having John on ignore list has been great so far !

"A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject." - Winston Churchill.

I have this image of a guy with two large heavy lights strapped to his helmet with dual wires running to two batteries in his jersey pockets and flashing lights of every kind located all over his bike riding through the middle of NYC. Everyone has to cover their eyes as this guy approaches. It's tolerated, because, after all it is New York....

You just can't make this stuff up: strobe ....

You think we could get him to show us a picture of what he looks like all decked out?

All I can say is I don't want to be that guy. And it doesn't matter how many times I have to have physics explained to me.

And you know what? Androgen will never see this post because I'm on his ignore list. Not exactly the worst place to be.

    J.
