Quick shout-out to Princeton Tec

So, I had been having issues with my Apex light, and finally contacted Princeton Tec about service on it. Being a (fairly) local guy to their headquarters in Bordentown, NJ, I decided to drop the light off myself to spare some shipping charges. Incidentally, the gas I spent to get there was less than shipping the package.

Anyhow, much to my great surprise, after fiddling with the light head for a few minutes, the technicians got it to replicate the issues I was having, and asked me to come back in an hour, so they could replace the connector.

So I knocked around the area for a bit, and I come back to a refurbished light head with a (much) burlier connector, as well as a new battery+cables.

That is good to hear. I know they provide good service, that is good because I never had good luck with their products.
