    Need help making final decision

I've narrowed my search to two primary candidates and two alts.

    Primary Candidates:
    1. Gloworm X1 (new 950 lumen version available in two weeks)
    2. Niterider Lumina 700

    Alt Candidates:
    1. Gloworm X2
    2. Dinttone XML-3

    Background:
The light will be used for an upcoming 12 hour race on a 2 person team and slower speed, technical singletrack riding (typically under 2 hours). I'm coming from using a 1st gen MiNewt (350 lumens) and an old Niterider Flamethrower HID (12 watt). In the past I found these lights adequate but the batteries no longer hold a good charge.

I already have one Lumina 700. I like a more powerful light on my helmet. I really like the idea of not having a larger battery in my jersey pocket with extension cord running down my back, hence my preference for the lighter lights - Lumina with built in battery and X1 smaller 2 cell battery.
I thought of that while riding my bicycle. ~ Albert Einstein on the theory of relativity

If you are looking for small, powerful, and helmet mounted battery, you should look at the Amoeba lights. Made by MTBR forum user Scar, they would fit your requirements.
