    Most Bang For My $100-125

I'm obviously not looking to drop a load of cash on a bike light, but I want something that will light the trails reasonably well. I'm currently not opposed to any ideas (i.e. dedicated bike light systems or torches). I do like that the torches are more versatile and can be easily used off the bike.

If I go with torches, I will get two. If I go with a dedicated system, I know I may lose out a bit on overall lighting capabilities, but may gain in the reliability department?

    What say ye?

I would recommend the Gemini Titan. Been very pleased so far.

See my thread asking a very similar question:
Without MS, which best economical (first) light?

I am about to order these items:
    http://www.solarforce-sales.com/prod...t=FB&s=1&id=20 x2
    http://www.solarforce-sales.com/prod...RB&s=10&id=113 x1 (thrower)
    http://www.solarforce-sales.com/prod...=RB&s=10&id=37 x1 (for spill)
    http://www.solarforce-sales.com/prod...BC&s=23&id=122 x1
    http://www.solarforce-sales.com/prod...=FA&s=22&id=79 x1

that's less than $100 for two rad lights, a pair of extra batteries, a charger, and one bike mount. the only other thing I need is a way to mount one to my helmet. the only downfall to this setup is it's a one-mode light instead of a 3- or 5- mode, but you can buy those upgrades later.

Twofish Lockblock works fine with a torch on the helmet. Also makes a passable bar mount. This looks like a nice combo, but just out of curiousity, why are you buying two each of the drop-ins? Typo?

Can you buy a holder that allows you to run 4 of those batteries in a 2p2s config? I like the idea of removing the batteries and charging them individually in a charger.

I went ahead and ordered pretty much the same thing, except I ordered the body with extensions for one of the lights. The confirmation email said it should only be a week or two before I receive everything

Will do. However, I won't be able to compare the lights to anything else so it will be a completely subjective review. Well, I guess I have a 2 D-cell LED MagLite and a Streamlight TLR-1 weapon light to compare against
