    Maths vs Real Lumens..?

As I am getting more and more into the whole lighting thing can I ask, for those who have the facility or know the basic maths for calculating lumens - what is the theorectical lumen output for 7x Cree XML-2 T6 driven at 3A with each led in series with an appropriate power supply.

Also, when makers make claims of mega lumens yet their lights are only driven at 8.4v, how do they do it.. I am interested to learn more.. Thanks
