Lost and found can it be rebuilt?

    Hello

Yesterday on my way to my Thursday night ride my Magicshine Battery jumped right off my bike in transit. Lucky for me i was able to find it on the side of the road this morning! It is a bit busted up but it looks like all the parts are there and not completely broken! The cells do have voltage...5.8V at a full charge. I am OK with a solder gun. Any tips, tricks, or warnings about working with Li-ion bats? I know very little and want to stay safe. also, there is a rouge red wire off the board that looks like it went to the back of the pack. Any idea where that attaches?

    Thanks- JF

Chuck all of it except for the cable. Attach that to a replacement pack from batteryspace or other supplier. Dented Li-ion cells are not worth messing around with.

Those are toast. 5.8V, is that one pair of cells or 2 pairs of cells.
