helmet 90 degree tilt adapter ...

ok so my helmet is an ionos, so the back side of it looks this way more or less ( except for color ):

and this is more or less the way the helmet is angled on the head when riding ( no that's not me riding, i'm not that sexy ; )

and this is the mount that i will be working with:

and i need to mount it on that back flat side of the helmet to use as tail light, but then it will be pointing up, but i need it to point back. so what i need is a 90 degree angle bracket of some sort.

that angle bracket would mount to helmet with velcro, and the stock mount i would bolt to the bracket, that way i could aim the light straight back.

now i could go to home depot and buy a piece of metal, bend it, cut some slits in it etc - but damn that would be a lot of work. is there any easier way to do this ? can you think of an easier way ?

I'm using this product as an example to explain a viable option:
Amazon.com: Lezyne Al Helmet Mount LED Light: Sports & Outdoors

As those elastic strips on the picture with the current mount kit are shown, what if you use velcrow like in the product I posted, and use that to get it secured via tensioning through the crevice of your helmet? It might work well.
