Gemini Olympia? End of Charge Behavior?
Zeroing in on a Gemini Olympia w/ 6 cell battery for remote helmet mount. However, can't find any info on what the "end of charge" behavior of the light is. I know the back changes color, but on the helmet I won't see it. Does it flash, auto-dim, suddenly die, or other? Any insights?
Yay or nay on these lights from those who own them?
From the Gemini Olympia owners manual:
Low Battery Warning:
When the battery charge reaches a very low level, a flashing red indicator will appear and the light will automatically dim to low power to conserve energy
I put one on the bench to test this and it is indeed the case. The light will not let you switch to a higher setting at this point, but if you unplug the battery, let it recover for a minute, and plug it back in you can switch to a medium setting and get quite a bit more time.
