Fenix of torch fame are getting into bike headlights

Fenix, the torch people are getting into the bike lights market according to this post over at Gizmag.

The flagship light will offer up to 800 lumens of output and four separate lighting modes that will provide ample lighting for off-road use. It will burn for up to three hours on high and use a rechargeable battery pack that takes about two hours to charge. Fenix did not have run times for the lower settings, but like other LED lights, those will be significantly longer. The second light will offer up to 350 lumens of output.

Those look pretty sweet. About as cheap as I've seen comparable lights, but with a better name and warranty. Never used a Fenix, but have heard good things. Good to see.

Looks good. I've got a couple of their flashlights and like them.

Actually, they already do a bike mount for their hand held lights, but personally I'm not a huge fan of strapping a torch to the bars

Only have one Fenix flashlight, the E21, but it has easily become my "go to" flashlight, especially for the price.

I'll have to keep them in mind when in need of a new bike light.

If the article is accurate and the 800 lumen model comes in at under $100, that's pretty sweet considering their reputation for quality.

Yeah, there's MS knockoffs for less then half of that, but even my frugal azz would spend the extra for a quality name brand like this.
