    Cygolite Turbo 800

I thinking of this model for a handlebar-mount commuter light. The seperate battery pack offers longer run times than similar self-contained models and the head has a larger diameter lens. (Any advantage?) Is anyone familiar with the beam pattern or other features of this light? Thanks.

I read last years model had a pretty narrow beam pattern,, maybe better suited for helmet use. Not sure what if any changes to the reflector for this year, just the new XM-L emitter I would assume. If you can wait or find somewhere in stock for a few bucks more the Triden-X would be a big step up in every way for bar use. Cheers!!
