    Cygolite Trion 1200?

According to Cygolite this model wont be available until late November. The specs and price look really good to me. Any thoughts or speculation?

    What's the price?
Looks like a nice handlebar light. I like the option to run an external battery to extend runtime.

Universal Cycles has it listed at $305, if you use the "VIP 15" coupon code it knocks the price down to $259.25.

Thought I'd bump this thread back up now that the light is in stock.

This light looks pretty awesome. I thought that their all-in-one's maxed out with the cygolite 700. I had no idea this was even available. Pretty big price tag, but it's definitely a nice product. I wonder how this compares to to the Light and Motion Taz 1200. It's about the same price.

Just ordered from Amazon for $221 to replace my Trion 600. I'll let you all know in a few days how the 1200 shines!

Mr. FedEx left me my Trion 1200 today, so I charged it up and took it for a test run tonight. Incredible light! Significantly brighter than my Trion 600. Even noticeably brighter on the second highest setting! Improvements over 600:
    1. Brighter (dah...)
    2. Better color
    3. Improved bar clamp - Better balanced, less tendency to nose-dive
