    Contec X-Power 1500?

    Any experience with this light?

Claimed 1500 lumens with 3 x XM-L and price similar to say gloworm x2.

When it was a moon power 1500 it had the worst mount I've seen, rubberised mount that let the light flop around so much it was useless off road. Modded an old Niteflux mount to fit and its awesome!
Good beam, good battery life, I'm happy.

Curious why they need a ferrite bead on the cable? Trying to minimize interference with cycling computers??

    Here's a review of Moon X power
Moon X-Power 1500 light review | Bike Magic

    Verdict

The Moon X Power left us feeling a little underwhelmed. Including the ‘off’ mode in the sequence is plain daft for a trail riding light and the bracket just isn’t secure enough for going off-road. With a decent bracket, this could be a great light. As it is, we feel there are better options available.
Bad mount, just like weedkilla1 said. Maybe they have fixed the light since the review.
