Broke my o-ring mount
I had my light mounted to my bars and went OTB the other day and broke the plastic mount that holds the o-ring. I can't seem to find a replacement. I want to now mount it to my helmet (to avoid this problem to begin with), so if there is a good hack I'll listen to that idea for sure!
The light is just one of the cheap MagicShine China knock-off, T6 Cree deal.

Perhaps, just use a piece of aluminium sheet with holes for light's screw and for velcro band?

I have adapters that allow the use of the GoPro mount system on your style light. PM for info if you are interested.
I have my light mounted upside down, under the bars. If the bars hit the ground in a crash, the light won't be damaged. It also seems less likely to slip when hitting bumps in that position.
