    Brighter light: helmet or bars?

Any advice on the placement of my brighter lite? I have two niteriders, ones a 750 and the other a 300. Bars or helmet on the brighter one?

Personally i like having a narrower beam like a 16 beam on my helmet and a more spread beam on the bars.

    Cheers.

+1 Floody on the bars, throwy on the helmet. If only I could find something to outthrow my XM-L bar light.

Brighter on the bars. I like to "navigate" with the bar light which gives me the best depth perception. I use the helmet light to see around corners and far away

    ^^^ Absolutely this.

Take both lights and one at a time hold them up to just over your eyes and look downrange. It's obvious. You need some shadow to get depth perception. When your eyes are essentially coincident with the beam, you lose all that because the shadow is behind the object.

Sorry....off subject but how are able to indicate "degree" with the little zero? That is so cool, I wish my keyboard had that key....never mind...answer from yahoo...16...so cool.
Anyway for others who might want to know...press/hold Alt key and 0176, then release Alt key..this gives you the degree indicator...
