    Hi znomit;

    We have no more info than you do, but we were told to help to solve the warranty repair issues from here usa rather than taking it all the way to China and back, which could take more than a month or two.

    This is what manufacture and us will do and want to do, to keep BikeRay name in good standard.

    How can you fix these "issues" if you don't know what they are?

    We are BikeRay USA and we have trained technicians for all BikeRay lights.
    We do carry most of parts needed for any BikeRay lights and more are coming specifically for this issue.
    We value on customer satisfaction than selling one extra light.

    Obviously, the other "seller" knows about the issue & has some defect Ray-IIIs and contacted manufacture for repairs.
    And since we are deeply involved with manufacture, more than just a distributor, we have decided to support, even we didn't sell these lights.

    No strings attached of any kind.

    Manufacture replied to "seller" to send the units to us, and we tried to contact them directly, but we haven't got any response yet.

    So here we are, anouncing directly to the mtbr community that we are here on behalf of BikeRay Manufacture, if you are having any issue(s) with older version of Ray-III, let us help you to get the needed repairs done.
    No need to send the unit to "seller" to get it shipped to China and back.
    And if you already sent the unit to "seller" contact him to send the unit to us for repair.

    Please don't miss understand our fateful action on this matter. We don't gain any profit by doing this, but we actually have to pay our people to get them fixed.

    As we said, we are doing this to help bikeRay customers and to keep BikeRay name in good standard. Thats all.
