800 Lumen MCE light from DX

I was having a look around on DX and came across these. Has anyone tried one yet? Whats the beam like?

They have been talked about but I don't think anyone has one yet. It might be a nice light, who knows. Would of been nice if D/X told you a little more about the emitter ( like what bin you are getting ) I've noticed that they are starting to leave that info out on a lot of their stuff. For what it's worth I think this lighthead a good candidate for an XM-L transplant.

Why should P7 be brighter? by the specs, MCE certainly outperforms P7...

All the P7 lights are called 900lm... Even the ones that say C bin!
All the MCE lights say 800lm.

Surprisingly I just ordered an Eastwood XML torch and it says a mere 900lm

...the bin, the bin is everything. You need to know the bin.

Ah, never mind, I think it is this one ( link )

Tonight I decided to take the reflector off the C-8 I got from Kaidomain. I'm very surprised, a very nice looking build. The XM-L emitter is centered very well and has a rubberized ring surrounding it that serves to seat the reflector. Nice touch if I do say so. znomit let us know how the Eastward XM-L turns out.

What do you think it is better for XM-L transplant MC-E or P7 or is it the same?
