    Thanks Alvin, amazing thrower.

    A question Alvin:

Can you guess or a meassure the dimension of the SMO reflector.
Especially the depth of the refector would be very interesting to know.
The diameter of the whole unit is 55mm right?
    And a single reflector hole?

I am wondering how that light manages to produce so much throw.

    Thanks

I just looked at those lux readings and I'm scratching my head.
The lamps ( in the photo )look to be about a meter ( or five ft. ) from the wall. When I test my XML tri-clone lamp at that distance the meter almost goes to 3000 lux.. Perhaps the reading giving by Mr. Wu needs to be multiplied by 10. That needs to be clarified.
The spot pattern on the wall looks much smaller than the one produced by my similar tri-clone lamp. If so the Fluxient 3x XML (U2) could be a real thrower. If the Fluxient does indeed have another 1000 lux output that is an extra 25% more light OTF. Mr. Wu, are you still around to comment about this?

He does say above the first picture"... unit 10 lux", so you may be correct.

Yeah, I'm figuring something was lost in the translation. If he had said "unit X10 lux" it would of been better.

One of the things that bothers me in the " Torchy Battery boy " beam shot photos is that the light looks to have a bluish tint. Mr Wu's photos don't seem to show a blue tint.
