    Xeccon Remote switch removal

Howdy all. i did do a search for this but was wondering. Has anyone removed the switch for the Xeccon light. My son will be running it as a helmet light and the switch would be nice to remove. Not sure if it is a loop type wiring setup or not. Hate to ruin it before we even have a chance to use it.

What Xeccon light are you referring to, the last of their stuff was wireless.

Hmmm. The light I just got on Amazon was the Xeccon Sogn 900 2000 Lumen light.

Well, its starting to get to that time of year again. Anyone have any feedback on this. The reason I am Intersted in this, is simply that this setup has two switches. One on the light and one on the extension. I may play with it a bit and see what happens Between the two switches. If it is a matter of cutting the cord, and closing a switch loop then I might try it.

So here is a very quick update on my progress with this. I think I may have killed the light BTW. But..... I digress. So the light itself as well as the switch have a chip board that allow them to work independent of each other. In other words it is not like having two switches in an open loop. in order to ditch the remote switch I think some work on the chip board is a must. Now that being said this is what I am doing. I ordered a new light, and I got a battery bonus to use. That said, I would like to get this working as the light is a great size and brightness.
