When Solder and Heatshink is not Enough!

I need to draw on the collective intelligence of this forum. I am planning on using a Magicshine battery/charger but I would also like to use the inline switch or the coiled cord from Batteryspace.

After you solder and heat shrink wires together, is there something such as a plastic cover that can be placed over the joint or another solution which makes it look a bit more clean/professional?

    Thanks in advance!

Several ways; easiest is cast in epoxy glue, 2nd is a length of plastic pipe with epoxy in the ends for sealing. Me, I'd use heatshrink. I have some really cool heatshrink that has adhesive inside that melts, filling in all the voids.

The heat shrink with the adhesive sounds like a possibility. Is there a particular brand/model??

Nah, it's there with the regular heatshrink. For example: http://www.amazon.com/Raychem-TAT-12...648327&sr=1-13. Comes in all sizes.
