    Turbocat LED Conversion??

I have an old Turbocat light. I would like to convert this light to LED, just for fun.

The problem is, I have never built a light before. I have replaced LED stars on multiple flashlights and what not in the past, so I have a soldering iron and the ability to use it. Is there a kit out there (thinking Cutter) that would be fairly easy for me to install in this light? I would like to not only change this over to LED to add in durability, but also increase the output as much as possible.

Any suggestions? Should I just give up on this old light and try another host? I would like to have it around as I assist in leading a few night rides and it would be nice to have an extra light.
