    TROUTIE CUTTER 7UP Help

    Hey guys, I just got off the phone with Cutter and have ordered one of the lights.....STOKED!

    Will a 7.2v 11ah battery run this light? .....yes I'm a total newbie when it comes to this stuff LOL!

    You'll be above the 3A recommendation for input current at full noise.

    5s li ion would be ideal so that is 21v.

    As has been mentioned here, 21v is above the safe maximum input voltage for the Maxflex driver so not a good recommendation. 4s is a better choice that keeps the voltage well below the 20v limit.

    you are correct... 20v input max I was looking at the output voltage.....which is 24v? for ver 5.
