Triple Cree R5 with an 11.1V battery???

I've have a dual Cree light with a BuckPuck and have two 11.1V Li/ion battery packs for it. No problems. I just found out though that LED Supply will be getting in the new Cree XP-G's bin R5 in January and I was wondering if there is any way to make a triple Cree using my existing batteries. And be able to run them at full 1000mA too...
    Can it be done?

    Yes.
Buck puck should keep it in regulation when the battery comes off the charger at 12.6V. Then the buckpuck will drop out when the battery voltage falls and you will get a gradual dimming of the LEDs as the voltage continues to drop.
I run a few lights like this without any issue at all.
