Just thought I would share this one www.sugru,com
it cropped up on a thread yonks ago .
I wanted to mount my Brick battery under the top tube but the cables run under there and it wobbled about .
so ordered some sugru and used a bit of cling film to stop it sticking to the frame and moulded a couple of blobs to the cables it works a treat and fits snug now .
I was going to use the sugru to mould a remote switch
So does it set hard then? What's it like to work with?
You must have legs like bloody treetrunks pedalling that car battery up them Yorkshire hills!
.. you havn`t seen trouties legs jez?? in a word ...Burly!
haha it was only a couple of weeks ago i was thinking
now what the hell was that stuff called..
at the time i thought it would end up being everywhere but it dissapeared.....
Thanks for the tip Troutie, just ordered some to try making cable strain reliefs (no space for a gland). Sounds like a cross between silicone molding stuff and plumbers putty, which would make it just about ideal. Very reasonable price too.

great minds think alike I'll let you know how it goes when it gets here - should be around the same time as the parts I ordered from DX arrive..
