A source for DIY light parts

I build tube guitar amps and was ordering a few parts last week when I noticed that the guy I buy a lot of my tube sockets from had a link up for bicycle light parts.

Ends up he lives in Pisgah here in NC and is an MTBer.

Anyway, thought I'd pass it on as Doug Hoffman is a stand up guy and thought you guys might be able to use him as a source for parts.

    His site:
    http://www.hoffmanamps.com/

And a direct link to the bike light parts:

Thanks for the heads up Jason but I think you'll find that Doug has been posting here for quite some time under the handle El34. He is a very helpful guy as is his website, so worth pointing out to newcomers.

Nothing but good experiences ordering from Doug.

    Good prices and fast shipping.

I think I might have known that, but I don't think that the origin of his user name ever sunk in before -- EL34 is a common power tube.

Yes Doug is a pretty cool laid back kind of dude.

Helped me get my little taig lathe up and running all through the power of the interweb.

The Marwi mounts and housings are pretty easy entry DIY (for the somewhat skilled but machine shop deprived).

Lots of threads here about using them, and on the CPF Bicycle forum.

Doug's service makes it all so much easier.

Now I might just dust the old Harmon-Kardon off....

More props for Doug. Quick ship and a helpful dude! His schematics got me started modding and now I can't stop.
