P7 Resistor based driver board version 2

I just finished cutting a batch of new resistor based driver boards - version 2.

I re-designed my previous resistor based boards to use the new clicky switch mod that adds two more terminals. The switches now have double the contact surface area for better contact and current carrying capablilty.

Here's a shot of a switch with 2 more out terminals added.

The board set looks like this. The board set jumpers the extra two terminals together to double the contacts.

Here's a diagram of how the new driver boards work with the switch above.

Here's the page that shows how to assemble the new board and how it is installed in one of the Marwi bodies.

Anyone that purchased resistor board version 1 can have a free board set of version 2.
I can throw the new board set in with your order, if you need anything that is.
You will have to purchase two more clicky switches to make the modded switch.
that mod is shown on this spage.

I just got a big shipment of the clicky switches, so they are now back in stock.

No, you have two, you take one apart to make one with 4 terminals.
See the link on how to do that in my post above.
    It's pretty easy.

"Easy" We'll see. I got my parts today. I think this will be fun.

I've got the switch mod time down to maybe 2-3 minutes.

That's taking two switches apart, adding two terminals to one switch and popping the modded switch back together.

Soldering the spring to the IN terminal is not required.
I do that outside the switch on a jig so as to not melt the switch body.

I may mod a bunch of these switches and offer them for sale.
Of course, then there is labor added to the switch price, but it will make it easier for those that don't want to mess around with talking switches apart that have tiny parts inside.

I have dropped the terminals onto my shop floor and then they go into some sort of void, never to be seen again.

I ended up getting some clicky switches from kaidomen as you were out of switches and they already come with a extra terminal only problem is that its in a different place to you modded switch. Maybe you could use these in future although a redesign may be neccesary.

    yeah, me too.
I grabbed a couple hundered of them from kaidomain.

I actually like those switches more than the ones I got from DX.

The terminals inside are nicer than the DX switches.

Not sure which switch you got, but mine had two out terminals just like the Dx switches?

    Did you order this switch?

The pictures on the Km site are really bad, but it looks like the terminals on the switch you have will work with the new resistor based boards - version 2.

If you purchased version 1, I'll give you a free set of version 2 boards.

Did you see the new assembly page for the version 2 boards here?
