    Ordering malfunction DX website

After too many varied attempts to list here, I still am not getting the Shopping cart to list my selections.

This issue is NOT in their FAQ's- and not in first page of googling here and CPF, so it appears to be rare. Well, uniqueness has its price.

All e-mail and other technical contacts to DX are based on having an order, (which I don't, because of this problem).

Their phone number did not work last night during their business hours. Not that it matters, but I am registered with them under two different e-mail addresses.

I allowed DX site to have cookies. I can't think of how else my security might block the "Add to Shopping Cart" function unless there some Java script I need to allow to run?

IE Explorer browser in XP. Macaffee Security Suite. Cable modem: high speeed internet.

Ideas? (Other than it sux to be me?)

I just added a couple items to my DX cart and it's ok here.

    Hmm, Popup blocker?

    Just guessing.

Do you have the status bar turned on?
Does your browser window show any of those small error icons along the bottom edge status bar?

I use MalwareBytes and sometimes it prevents me from looking at content.
I usually have to shut MalwareBytes down, close the browser and then go back to the same web site page.

Also, IE8 does some strange stuff.
I have another computer here that has IE8, Firefox and Chrome.

I'll go to that computer and use another browser to see if IE8 is the problem

Mcaffee has the personal info blocked but DX should have no need or access.

All updates are current. Likey MS's way to get me to buy a new PC and OS (Vista avoider here) as my keyboard and mouse pack it in, too.

I use IE8 mostly, but it does some strange things on some of my shopping cart pages that Firefox and Chrome do not do.

The JQuery javascript items seem to run very slow with IE8 and the other two browsers have no problem with the code.

Firefox worked fine. IE8 still doesn't. 'Nuff said. Thanks EL34.

That explains my lack of problems with Dx - have been using Firefox for years

Glad you succeeded. Looking forward to your results.
