New USB programmable 3A linear driver

designed by the guy that makes the triple XM-L light engines and crazy ass light bars

sounds pretty damn cool to me, especially the USB programmable part. Worth keeping and eye on, especially to see what the price is like. It's great to have multiple options!

Now that will really be something- programmable on your pc via USB, instead of half an hour of counting taps and presses on a single button like writing a paragraph in morse code.

yeah, that's the point I think I'm not 100% convinced by the switching on individual chips to provide different power levels, as there's no guarantee that the levels you want (by eye) match up with the ones you can have.

Don't forget, you can also reprogram Nanjg drivers via USB, you just have to futz around with a programming clip. Theoretically simple, although I haven't worked up the courage to try it yet
