New LED from Light & Motion

Check it out, looks like it might be a good one:

I plan to call them tomorrow and see what format of LED they are using; hope it's a Cree or a Seoul. Also plan to ask about optics, ie, what type of pattern we can expect to see from the light.

    Cheers,
    Sal

    Almost forgot....

The '180' in the title refers to its output in lumens on high mode, which is 3.5 hrs w/Li-Ion or 4 hrs with the NiMH.

Come on guys, where’s the lumen monsters!

It’s nice to see a new light, but only a single emitter with low light output, and driven with a whopping 3 cell Li Ion pack?

At least provide either a bit more light, or a bit more burn time! Even so I will be interested to see some beam shots…

    Sorry for the double post!

I'll be interested to hear what they have to say when you give them a call.

like Lowrider said....needs more emitters. Atleast they are using current LED technology. Wonder if its a Cree or a Seoul ....I am guessing Cree.

Sounds like they are going after the MiNewt, not the bigger lights.
