    making LEDs flash

Ive got some K2 leds kickin around, and I want to make a rear light with them. Ive made a couple headlamps, so im confident working with LEDS, but Im not totally sure how I would go about making them flash?

easiest way is to buy a controller that has a flash function, such as the taskled ones like their nflex or bflex. I suppose you could build your own circuit based on an astable multi vibrator, or a microcontroller based one or something. my vote is buy the taskled controller...my back ground is electrical/electronics too.

you are going to need a controller of some sort any way to get the best from the leds.
