    Lume Lighting Capo-(Xenon)

Any one have one? how is it? For $150 it sounds like it would be a grate light. Any downsides to Xenon compared to HID for bike lights?

What they are calling Xenon sounds like a halogen set up to me, but with the filament encased in xenon gas, rather than a halogen gas. I'm pretty sure it's an incandescent bulb, rather than an halide arc-type lamp. The beam will be yellower than HIDs, though it will look bluer than your run-of-the-mill halogen. In fact, it might look very HID like, until you compare it directly to a HID. Also at 20W, you're looking at a 2hr burn time, rather than the more lengthy 3.5hr burn time of their HID.

Looking at Lume's site, the bulb life isn't as good as the HID bulb.

I really need a new light. Im betting its brighter then the halogen light im using from performance right now. I only get a 2 hour burn time right now any way. I would love to get an HID system but i just dont have the cash.
