high CRI all in one headlamp

    hi all,

just to show that I haven't been shirking my light building duties recently, here's a thread detailing an all-in-one headlamp I just finished building. Worked a complete charm during the 24h/ 2 days that it took to replace the AC evaporator in my car

Glad to see getting a lathe hasn't taken away your love of RHS

Not sure what is happening with your fancy GIF though -works fine on BLF but it doesn't work for me here.

Another functional light with some interesting personal touches

bleh, so much for fanciness The mtbr forum has gone so weird recently - won't work in Chrome, image insertion is all funky etc.

Anyway, yes, I still loves me some 1in.sq. tubing. Partly because it's perfectly sized for 18650 cells and 20mm LED stars, partly because I still have over 5ft of it left Thanks for the complements, this is the headlamp I've been wanting for years and I used my old one several times a week for years, so I'm very pleased with it and it'll get a huge amount of use.

Next up - some LED lighting for the garage, an adjustable light for the lathe and a high CRI battery powered make up light for the missus!

    Nice GIF

[Geekspeak]This forum allows you to upload images, which is good as it stops individual image losses when people delete stuff from their pic host but bad when the pics for the forum goes awol. To get your GIF to display I simply copied the url from BLF and posted it using BBB image tags.[/Geekspeak]
