    Experiences with Tioga/Cygolite Lights?

    Hey guys,

im looking for some advice on the Tioga (page 9) and Cygolite (page 13) lights in this anaconda sale catalogue. (They are the $99 and $97 light respectively.)

    http://www.anaconda.com.au/Anaconda2.pdf

Ive just got back into MTB riding a haro v2, and wanting to do a few XC runs at night.

Which one of these do you think will have the best bang for their buck, and in comparison to the Niterider lights which are a tad out of my price range.

    Thanks
    Jesse

Hi, I have a cygolite light (hallogen 15w 6v) and I think that are a excellent light. Now I use my DIY led light by the low comsumtion. Nevertheless, I think that the cygolite lights are a very good option. If you like, can you buy without problems.

is the dual 6w night rover enough to do fire trails and flatish singles?

or would i need something more like the 10w nitro?

    thanks

    Should be fine....

I used the dual 6W Night Rover on my bars during the 24 hours of 9 mile last year (with a Night Rider Evolution 10W on my helmet) and was happy with it. For not too technical single track and/or fire roads it should be fine...although on fast downhills you may run out of light with only the Night Rover.
