    Edge - uploading courses

I'm trying to find a way to load a course onto the Edge, but it seems this can only be done using the Garmin Training Center software, which only works with proprietary file formats (.crs, .hst, etc.). Guess I need to find some program which will convert standard formats (e.g., .gpx) into the Garmin formats.

Has anyone found such a program?

In general, I'm trying to use mapping software (DeLorme Topo6) to create a track or route, then upload it to the Edge so I can follow it as a course. The route navigation feature on the Edge is unusable, and, to this point, I've only been able to upload waypoints from this software to the Edge.

    Motionbased

If you upload a file to motionbased you can then download it in other formats.

Right. I also just found some freeware, GPX2CRS, which will convert .gpx files to .hst and .crs.

Should have searched before I posted...
