    Dinotte 400L taillight mounting option

Though it's not shown on the 'in the box' photo on the Dinotte site, the 400L taillight comes with a handy little bracket that can be mounted to a flat surface (needs a 6mm hole though).

Lucky for me, as none of the other brackets it came with enabled me to mount the light to my Old Man Mountain rack. The light pumps out a lot of heat, and mounting it too close to panniers would be a risky business. This bracket meant I could mount it closer to the centre of the rack. I did have to drill a hole, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

The light is great, but I set it at the lowest brightness setting. I accidentally looked at it when set on high (in a room, in the daytime) and I nearly blinded myself! When I blink I can still see 2 red spots. I wouldn't leave it set on high, unless you enjoy the sound of cars driving off the road behind you.
