Betty: Lumen output at the various levels

Does anyone know the lumen output for the Betty at each of the various power levels?

    Factory settings:

    1400 max setting
    12% setting- maybe 170 lumens

Of course, you can customize your settings. Just use 1400 Lumens as 100% and then calculate the different settings since they are expressed in percentages.

I helped a portuguese racer attending our 12 Hour relay race here this past weekend to re-program his Betty. He was finding the lower beam (12%) too weak even for climbing, and he didnīt know it could be changed. I then programmed his low beam to 40%, and thatīs a lot of light already, believe me! Iīd say itīs close to the 60% low of the Wilma. Not that he needed the extra burning time allowed by this setting, since his Betty was the 12 with the big, bottle battery. Enough juice for a LOT or riding on full power

Yeah, some may disagree but they may not be riding that fast. The 12% setting is great for emergencies and repair but a 60% or 40% setting would be perfect for those long and slow climbs. The 12% is not for me while rding- just fine for walking, I suppose.

I'm going to the 100/60/12 or 100/40/12 or whatever that 3-Step one happens to be.

Agreed, Flyer And itīs fixed at 100/40/12 on the Betty and 100/60/12 on the Wilma. Iīm currently using the 3-step too. Even at 12% itīs a lot of light when youīre in complete dark. But these Lupines have such a long runtime even at max power, it takes the sense out of using the 12% to save battery or something IMHO. But itīs good just to have the option
