Best replacement battery for magicshine or china led light for the money

I am reading alot about different options but i am looking for a good battery. I found this panasonic 6200 hunk lee someone recommended.

    anything better than this?

Can you just wrap it with electrical tape if i am going to put it in another pouch?

I run it in the back of jacket, not looking for a helmet mounted battery.

It's one of the better deals right now from what others are reporting. It comes in standard heatshrink tape.

Just plastidip 2x and you are waterproof! Cheap and easy

seems like a great deal. Will the standard magicshine charger work for this pack?

My ms chargers puts out 1.8a @ 8.4v for the 4 cell battery and 2.5a @ 8.4v for my 6 cell battery. Actions website says not to use the larger charger for 4 or 2 cell batteries. Are there different chargers for different sized battery packs? Why would it matter how much amps if the battery is only going to be charged to 8.4v anyway?

    Thanks for any help

Hunk Lee's batteries are the real deal.
I use self fusing silicone tape to wrap them up nicely, then an outer layer of heat shrink for armour. I also paint plasti-dip around the openings in the heat shrink for a second layer of waterproofing but it's probably redundant.

One more tip- you can use heat-shrink to make a nice tight seal to your Magicshine male cable ends. Slip it over the connector on the battery, plug in the light and be sure it reaches just over the bulge of the male connector and back behind the end of the female connector then shrink it.

Are the packs from Hunk Lee compatible with the magic shine connectors?

Yes, the male Magicshine plug will work with the female socket on Lee's battery packs.
I seal the connection with 1 or 2 layers of heat-shrink tubing. You can see it in the pic.

Comes apart with a nice "pop" sound.
