    ? anyone sell a p60 compatible head

It seems that many of you are more into machining than some on the candlepower site. I see all kinds of custom lights here.

I searched and couldn't find anything. I was wondering if anyone sells heads that for the p60's. I love to try new things all the time and it is so much easier to pop a p60 in and out than buy a whole new light each time.

(Edit for clarity) I'm looking for a p60 head that you can mount and just has the head with a built in switch. . .

    Thanks for your help,
    matt

Do some searching on these forums. It has been some time ago but this was discussed pretty thoroughly. I think the consensus was that the P60 format did not have a good thermal path for long term use in high power applications and modifying a torch as a host was pretty easy (ie. cheaper than a low volume custom head).

I have to admit I was a little confused because I searched for p60 and this is the answer I got, "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."

I figured I must be doing something wrong because the p60 is a pretty standard item these days.

Thanks for taking the time to help. I appreciate it.

Hi matt, welcome to the forum
there are some really nice P60 flashlights or
    p60 drop ins here ....
    http://www.solarforce-sales.com/product.php?t=RB
it would be a simple task to wire in a battery pack for longer runtime if needed
i have their XP-G and XM-L L2P flashlights and the quality is really superb!!
heres one host that will turn into a really short flashlight
and accept the p60 drop in
