    18650 holder question

If I have protected 18650 cells, is it ok to use a holder that also has a pcb built in? Or do I need to look for a holder that does not have a pcb?

I am looking for a two cell holder, like the 2s1p holder from batteryspace.com

    Are there any other options?

I don't see why not. It would just be double the protection.

I can't see why the BS holders wouldn't work with your protected cells so long as you're not trying to charge them while in the holders.

There are other holders: LuminousDIY > http://www.luminousdiy.com/Light%20K...ts.htm#holders
and the ones that EL34 shows on his web site although I'm not sure if he sells the holders he shows. If he does sell those holders please let me know. They look nice.

Double the protection equals double the losses ...so that makes zero sense to me.

I would estimate that PCB protection loss is about 2-5% depending on various factors. It all adds up to less minutes on the trail!

PS, all holders are in stock ready to ship in 1-2 days
