    10 mm square xpe

Can anyone tell or show me a picture how to solder 10mm square cree cpe in series.

There are no +/_ markings on the board. just an A and C in two corners. with 3 large pads and one smaller one at the one end.

Which of the four pads are + and which are neg ?

    Does it matter ?

    Get's confusing now doesn't it.........

YB summed it up nicely. Just going to add some.

The tiny, extra tiny, pad at the bottom is negative. It is usable. Just be real careful soldering to it.
So "A" in one corner. The two adjacent pads are positive.
The "C" is the negative with the two adjacent pads, one being the tiny one.

When working with the 10mm boards, round or square or really any board at all, I tend to tin all pads while the board is sitting on a piece of wood scrap. Tinning the board makes attaching the wires much easier.
Once a board is heat sinked it can sometimes be challenging to get the pad to take the solder.
If you are using the tiny negative pad the pre-tinning is nearly essential. Learned this from bad experience.

I have found that a solder flux pen is invaluable when soldering these small leds. Just wipe some flux on the pads and the solder takes like a duck to water with less heat. As Odtexus said, once the pads are tinned the wired are a breeze to connect.
