    Wich Dawg is better?

    Hello!
I have the chance to buy a '04 Dawg frame or a '03 Dawg Primo frame.
Each comes with its own shock - '04 Float R Propedal or '03 Float RL AVA.
Wich one, regarding the shock, is worth the most?
The geometry is slightly different on each one, the Primo has lower standover and lower BB height. The price diference is 100US$

    Thanks
    Hugo Oliveira

The frames were exactly the same between '03 and '04 (regardless of version), with the exception of the shock, weren't they? I'm guessing you're just looking at two different sized frames (perhaps I misunderstood and that's what you meant, though). Anyway, IMO, get the frame that fits you best before deciding about the shock.

The size is the same, the geometry difference comes from the seat and head angles.
The '04 has 0,5 less than the '03 wich would make the '04 more ... (fill in the blanks)

    OldDawg gets new Dawg!

    My first post!

This OldDawg turns 40 this year. I recently decided to get back into mountain biking for the first time since 1990 (my, how things have changed!). After doing the research I'd pretty much decided on a Kona when I lucked upon that Wheel World sale. I drove down last night (I live in L.A.) and scored the last '04 Dawg they had in my size for $1099! The dude that helped me told me I got real lucky -- they'd sold 5 of them that day and only had the one 18" and a 15" (way too small) still in stock. I was doubly lucky in that I got to the store 4 minutes before they closed (frickin' L.A. traffic!); if I'd missed it that night, the Dawg would have been sold the next day, for sure.

I'm jazzed about my new ride!
