Titanium Honzo - will it happen?

You've read rumors, maybe even heard Chris Mandell wax poetic on the possibility.

I love my steel Honzo, but I'd love to have a second one in Ti!!

Post up here if you feel the same way, and especially if you've got intel on the likelihood of a Honzo in titanium! Maybe we can convince Kona to do it (if they haven't already decided).

It'd be awesome, but oh so expensive. I cringe on the thought of the pricetag.
That being said, when my current honzo rusts away I'd probably buy on in a heartbeat..

wouldn't it cost about the same as a Rajin? Ti double diamond frame with sliding drops? with that said, i have no idea how much the Rajin cost, my shop never had one in.

One can expect a $1999 pricetag, same as the Raijin or newly added Explosif. And as much as I love my steel Honzo frame, that's 4 cromoly frames right there. Is titanium worth the extra $1500? I doubt it.

I wrote on Kona's Facebook page once and said something like "Kona, I DARE you to make a Ti Honzo." Kona's reply leaves no doubt in my mind that it is happening.

I already have a 2012 Honzo that, as this point, is built up just to my liking… and I just got a PIKE for it! Pictures forthcoming.

It will be fun to drool over the Ti Honzo, but I'm saving my cash for a carbon Process 111.

    I know all.

Yes, ti Honzo prototypes do exist.
Unfortunately, they dont plan to put them into production. As a honzo rider, and owner of Ti bikes, i was disappointed when I heard the news.

Now yall owe me a beer.

When can we expect a Honzo Titanium frameset? Any wild colors planned for the 2015 Honzo? Any changes?
