    Shock stroke question

I have a 2004 Stinky with the Vanilla R and on the spring it says 550x2.29. Is the 2.29 the stroke and if not how to I find out? Thanks

Check out the downloads at konaworld , U can find the shock dimensions there somewhere , but yeahh I do believe its a 2,0" stroke shock on the 04 Stinky.

The 2,29 on the spring referres to how much the spring can be compressed before the coils start hitting each other , U must always have a spring the can compress more than the stroke of the shock. If not U will bottomout (hard) on the coil iso on the rubberbumper on the shock
    Cheers
